With its superb torque and a maximum output power of 1075W, designed for running on 5s-6s batteries in radio-controlled flying models up to 5kg, the Model Motors AXi 4120/20 excels in 3D and aerobatic models up to about 3.5kg (123oz) where it can be used with 16×8 propellers on 5s or 15×8 propellers on 6s. This is the ideal motor for the SebArt Katana S50e with a good 15"x8" propeller on 6s. AXi v2 motors are the result of over 15 years experience in producing some of the finest brushless electric motors available. v2 motors offer an average 2% increase in power and up to 20% reduction in heat due to a new case design and accurate computer-controlled balancing.
The 4120/20 v2 is suitable for flying model gliders up to 5kg (176oz), aerobatic models up to 3.3kg (116oz) and 3D models up to 3.5kg (123oz). This motor is also suitable for slow-flying, trainer or vintage style RC planes up to 4kg (141oz).
A radial mounting kit with prop adaptors for front or reverse mounting is now included with the motor.
All AXi motors are manufactured by Model Motors in the Czech Republic.
